Philippe et Vincent Jaboulet Ermitage is a legendary red wine made from Syrah, sourced from the prestigious Hermitage hill in France’s Rhône Valley. This wine is known for its depth, complexity, and elegance, offering a rich expression of dark fruit, spice, and earthy nuances. As one of the most iconic wines in the Rhône, it is celebrated for its ageing potential and ability to reflect the power and finesse of the Syrah grape.
After three decades of working at the family estate, Philippe Jaboulet (the fifth generation) and his son Vincent have chosen to embrace the family’s creative heritage by establishing Domaine Philippe et Vincent Jaboulet. This Domaine produces wines from Collines Rodaniennes, Crozes Hermitage, Ermitage, and Cornas, and is recognised for its high environmental standards.
This wine exhibits a complex and powerful bouquet of black fruit, spices, and mocha. It features refined yet robust tannins and a long finish. Aged entirely in oak barrels (50% of which are new) and subsequently in bottles, it showcases excellent concentration and structure, making it well-suited for ageing. The wine is marked by finesse and elegance.
