This Syrah is something special. A collaboration between Phil, owner of Loki Wine, and the brilliant winemaker Katie Jones, it’s the result of two years of dedication and a whole lot of Syrah obsession. Phil has been hands-on from the start—choosing the vineyard plots, selecting the grapes, and working with Katie on blending and vinification. The result? The first-ever Loki wine, and of course, it had to be 100% Syrah!
Sourced from three old-vine Syrah plots in Tuchan, Languedoc—some over 100 years old—these vines battle against rugged, wind-swept terrain to produce intensely flavoured grapes. That struggle pays off, giving the wine remarkable depth, richness, and elegance. Aged entirely in French oak, it has a beautifully integrated oak character while keeping the freshness and finesse that Katie’s wines are known for.
Expect bold aromas of dark berries and smoky spice, leading to a rich palate of black fruits, earthy notes, and smooth tannins.
This is a super limited-edition release—only 170 bottles exist, and once they’re gone, that’s it! There will be no more releases of this wine, so don’t miss your chance to grab a bottle (or a few) while you can.

With its long, lingering finish, this Syrah pairs beautifully with hearty dishes like grilled meats, slow-cooked lamb, strong stews, steak, and blue cheese. One of our favourites? Venison Wellington.

“I’ve always loved Katie’s wines, so when the chance to make a wine with her came up, I jumped at it. I also couldn’t resist visiting her a couple of times to be part of the process! Working with someone so experienced was incredible, and I wanted to create a wine that reflects my style while capturing the softness and precision that Katie achieves. That’s why we chose some of the oldest parcels of Syrah—to give the wine extra structure and tannins—and used oak to bring everything together into something serious, yet drinkable now and for years to come.
