Pignoletto is a slightly sparkling (frizzante) from Italy.

Colli d’Imola Pignoletto is a white wine produced in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, specifically in the province of Bologna, in the hilly area around the town of Imola.  This wine is dry, crisp and refreshing, with less aggressive bubbles, basically a classier dryer Prosecco. This is our tip for people who are bored of Prosecco.

Made from the Pignoletto grape variety, this is a dry wine with a bright straw-yellow colour and aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, and white flowers. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with a good balance of acidity.

Food pairing suggestion: This wine is very versatile and can be enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with a variety of foods, including fish, white meats, and vegetable dishes.
