Beaujolais is having somewhat of a resurgence, and there is a real divide between the new young producers making wine biodynamically and producing some of the most wonderful elegant, fruity, delicious wines in the world, and the old school who are producing Beaujolais in the old boring way. I know which we prefer and Descombes are one of the producers that we adore from the area. This is not like Beaujolais you tried in the 80’s, this is complex whilst also bing mega accessible and fruity. It is delicious, and if you have not tried top Beaujolais, this is a great place to start.
