Marrans are one of the producers that have been credited with relaunching Beaujolais’ popularity. This is their clos (walled) vineyard right in the centre of Fleurie which is thought of as the “Grand Cru” of Fleurie. It produces a wine that is light and soft, with great fruit balance, but has beautiful delicate tannins.
