First created in 2005, Babich Black Label Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc comes from one of the oldest family-owned wineries in New Zealand. The fragrant and crisp qualities that distinguish Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc are highlighted in the Black Label Sauvignon Blanc together with a special depth and complexity on the palate.
We think this is a clear cut above the pack in terms of the quality/price ratio. The intense nose gives lime, gooseberry and boxwood, whilst the palate offers passionfruit and a subtle herbal note on the finish.
Food pairing suggestion: Pretty scrumptious stuff alongside summer salads or a good seafood platter.
Did you know? Babich produced wines are sustainable. They’ve produced wines of exceptional quality for three generations by gently interacting with the land, ecosystem, and seasons while ensuring that their vineyards and production methods improve year after year.
