About Cocchi
Founded in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi in the town of Asti, in Italy’s Piedmont region, Cocchi quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality aromatised wines and vermouths. A trained pastry chef with a passion for flavour, Cocchi began experimenting with infusions of herbs, spices, and botanicals in local wines, creating recipes that remain largely unchanged today. Over the decades, Cocchi became synonymous with traditional Piedmontese aperitivo culture, particularly known for its Storico Vermouth di Torino. After a period of dormancy, the brand was revitalised in the 2010s, re-establishing its place at the heart of the global cocktail renaissance. Today, Cocchi is celebrated by bartenders and enthusiasts alike for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and enduring legacy.
