Turkey

Turkey has a long history of winemaking, dating back to at least 6,000 years ago. Turkish wine is primarily made using its indigenous grape varieties such as Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Kalecik Karası, and Narince, many of which are not grown anywhere else in the world.

While Turkey is not yet a major player in the global wine market, its wines are gaining recognition and appreciation among wine enthusiasts. Turkish wine in the UK is increasing its popularity every year.
