Martin Codax Spanish Tasting at City Centre

Martín Códax was one of the pioneers of the Galician region, promoting modern viticulture practices in an area that was historically very traditional. This pioneering spirit meant that they focused strongly on the finest grape variety of the region Albarino, producing wine that is fresh, delicious and crisp.

During this tasting, we will focus mainly on Albarino, but also see how different winemaking techniques mean that during this tasting you will see how winemaking can give you many different styles of Albarino, from extra lees ageing luscious styles, all the way through to Orange wines. During the tasting we won’t just focus on Albarino, and will discover other varieties including the two super-fasionable grape varieties from the region; Godello, and Mencia.
