Dr Loosen and Rudolf Fürst are two legendary producers in their regions of Germany, Loosen in Mosel and Fürst from Franconia. Loosen have been family owned for over 200 years and under Ernst Loosen have become one of the most prestigious vineyards in the world. Many people have tried to replicate their style using low yield, and balancing acidity with sweetness in perfect harmony. Fürst from Franken have been producing wine on their estate since 1653, they generally produce a dryer style German Riesling and provide a great comparison with the Loosen wines; this is a rare chance to try some of the greatest misunderstood wines.

Peter Lehmann Wine Tasting at Loki (Hosted by Joe Roberts – Peter Lehmann wines)
This Peter Lehmann wine tasting at Loki is set to be one of our most exciting tastings yet. We will be focusing this tasting on their premuim wine range, which include some of the most awarded wines in Australia. Wines on tasting will include the legendary Stone well Shiraz which is a wine that needs no introduction and in the 30 years Peter Lehmann have been running has been at the forefront of Aussie Shiraz. Also the multi award winning Masters Semillon and Wigan Riesling which are two of my favourite wines. This tasting is not one to be missed.
Also as an added extra we are including some wines from the Hess Collection (Lehmann’s sister vineyard in California) – These wines are top draw as well.

Luigi Bosca are one of the most important wine producers in Argentina, and have been 100% owned by the Arizu family from the outset. Their focus on quality is unprecedented and they have managed to develop a range spanning from top-quality entry level wines such as their Finca La Linda ranges, all the way through to some of the best new-world blends in their ‘Gala’ Series. In this tasting you will be guided through the history of this legendary vineyard whilst trying an array of top class Argentinian wines.

Ken Forrester masterclass (Hosted by Ken Forrester)
Ken Forrester has been at the forefront of winemaking over 20 years and has cemented this reputation by being one of the most awarded wineries in South Africa. One of Ken’s major achievements is as the ‘founder of South African Chenin’ , where he has taken Chenin Blanc to a new level with his premium FMC wines. He is also known to be one of the fore runners in Organic farming in South Africa. This is a tasting not to be missed, and is bound to be entertaining as Ken is one of the most passionate owners I have met.

Champagne Deutz Masterclass
Deutz are an original Grand Marque Champagne House, and are one of the leading small producers in Champagne. They are one of my favourite houses because they produce wines of such clarity and cleanness and have stayed away from the mass produced style that some other houses have adopted. This is a great chance to try through the range of great Champagne.
